10. They Take Advantage of Support Resources:

You should become involved with a support system or an adoption support group with other adoptive parents. Ideally, these support groups should include both couples that are attempting to adopt and couples that have already adopted. This can allow you to learn from their experiences and be encouraged by their successes. Working with other people who are also seeking to adopt will help you become better informed about what it will take to make the process work for you. This will also help expose you to new ideas and keep you abreast of new developments in the adoption community.
